LEAD SINGER TAKES PILGRIMAGE TO DECCA RECORDS!
	While Christian sought to get away from the teeny bopper appeal their former bands The Bay City Rollers & The Tandem catered to, they were still being managed by former Tandem & Roller manager Tam Paton. This proved to have its benefits. While David and Dougie resisted Tam's pleas to become a part of the Rollers, Dougie did accompany Tam down to London when he went searching for a record contract for the Rollers. During this trip, Tam cut the famous deal with Bell Records that ended up launching the Rollers worldwide career. At the same time, they also met with Decca Records and ended up getting a deal for Christian to do a single.
