It couldn't have just been chance that Ian Bairnson was the resident guitarist when David joined the Tiffanys band. Just as destiny made sure that David bumped into Billy at the Library Door, it also had been doing its best to keep David and Ian running into each other. Even before hooking up with Ian while with Christyan, David would run into Ian all the time when he was dating his wife Mary. At the time, Ian was dating a girl that lived in the same apartment block as Mary. David should have known there was some kind of magic connection since they both drove the same model car, a Morris Minor!
